Guys and their formula for getting sex.

Today I would like to touch on the subject of men and some of their ways. Please don't reply saying not all men do that because this is a generalization and if the majority acts in this manner the generalization of these group is accurate and has served its purpose, so please think before you type. Anywho, im not sexually active at this time but many guys have tried to change that. It seems like they all have the same formula, some do put a little twist on it but for the most part they all do the same corney shit. And yes it is a turn off because you can tell they never think about what makes that specific woman happy. The first variable in the formula is not taking you on a date, nooooo that would be a sin. They request for you to come "chill" at their house or they come to yours. Although you may go through a whole warning process with them about how "nothing is gonna happen, we just chilling" in there head that is not a wall its just another cone in the obstacle course they have preconcieved in their head to reach the finish line, sex. The next thing he may do is find a way to lure you in to the bedroom and if you already there on to the bed. He may say something like "I wanna show you something" or "I want you to show me something". If your already in the bedroom he may say "why you sitting all the way over there, you don't like me or something". Once they have gotten you on the bed, its over they are touching you, feeling on your curves, seeing if they can provoke you to make the first move. If you don't then they must let you know they are excited by rubbing their private area on your rear. If no objection is made by now they feel comfortable enough to start anything that comes to mind. All of this is a turn off, especially if you dont know the girl, unless ofcourse she is either a whore or just really attracted to the guy. I wish people always had to try to get know you before they tried anything. The akwardness of not knowing a guy that is basically molesting you makes a woman more tolerant of his actions. I mean I still always say no but still I've obviously let things get to the points described in this blog sometimes. No I am not weak but sometimes I am on the fence about these things too...

A Day of Many Annoyances

So today I woke up with the worst attitude. I was so cranky and I knew from the moment I opened my lids the day was headed for disaster. The day started of with me waking up late for work, not that it really bothers me but I wished I had over slept so that I would completely miss work. I went to work and my boss who thinks he always has to teach me how to work with kids but me in one of his annoying experiments, but today he irritated me so much that I just decided to leave because I could not stand the sound of his voice any longer. I know all of this extra annoyance was just because I was already cranky because in reality I have nothing against him but today he got to me. Everyday I learn something new about myself, I ignore things that annoy me so much on a daily basis that when all that negative energy builds up, I wear it on my face like a mask. I'm think it is time I start dealing with things that bother me rather than store them in the back of my mind. A couple of other things bothered me today but I won't go into that. Let's just say if they had a "smack a bitch" button on the phone that button would have been abused today =).

New Beginning

Hello M.M.,

Today is May 11, 2009 and I have taken my first final to end off my sophomore year. I'm very excited to be finally accomplishing something in college. These past two years have been rough for me health-wise;school work was never a challenge for me until I hit college so with all of these obstacles my school work has suffered but we will get into that another time. Right now I would like to talk about my transformation. I have been a tom-boy since around the 3rd grade .I had a traumatic experience when I was wearing a dress another third grader looked up it lol, from that day I swore to myself I would never wear girly clothing again. I got over that but when I got around 12 I started gaining weight and I used the baggy non appealing look to draw attention away from myself. My confidence as far as my looks suffered tremendously and I was convince I would end up and old woman with 26cats and a turtle. I played basketball in highschool and that kept me in shape but still on the thicker side. My last year of highschool I couldn't play ball because of an injury and by the time i started college my weight had gone from the 160's to the high 180's. I have since lost all of that weight and now weigh around 130. I hate when people say you shouldn't focus on stuff like that to make you happy but your body is your temple and it is important to take responsibility for its up keeping. If you wanna live a long happy life it does first start from the inside because you must have the motivation and drive to keep yourself health but it takes your physical body to put these thoughts into action. When you look good you feel good, although thats not a good mind set to have, we can not ignore human nature. My papa always says " I want all my children to out live me but you cant do that if you dont take care of yourself" and thats what im trying to do now. My diet is not a strict one but I eat 5-6 times a day and drink plenty of water. For my main meals I only have lean meats and vegetables and in between meals may consist of yogurt or a pbj sandwich.

But here are the before and after pictures:

Before: Before: After:

If you don't like something about yourself, do something to change it and learn to love yourself in the process.

Welcome

Welcome bloggers to the mind of the most lax genius you will ever learn to love. I am Lauren Patrice Barnes born on the fourteenth day of October in the year of nineteen hundred and eighty-nine. I have recently learn to love myself. I have learned the most important person in life (besides God ofcourse) is yourself. It took me a long time to realize that, my life has always been trying to make other people happy, walking on eggshells for those who don't do the same in return but you must not expect people to reciprocate in the same matter as you treat them. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and upbringings and no this is not an excuse to mistreat those who treat you well but when you except this concept it leaves much room for the understanding of the down falls of others. There is so much that makes up Lauren Barnes. The biggest thing is that I love to learn. I love to teach myself new things and say random facts to my friends, and no I do it to show off my intellegence, there is no reason for that, I think that I give off an intellegent auora when I step into a room.
I started this blog to expand my vocabulary and discuss all topics that cross my mind. I think it is very important to be able to express yourself on all levels because it opens doors to communicate with all different types of people and create life long connections.

So I'm not going to ruin the point of this blog by discussing too much about myself too early on. I'll pretend I am a ball of yarn and unravel myself slowly.....
